Thankful that Porky’s and Burger King are closed

I’m glad Porky’s is closed, and never really got off the ground, as its owners may have hoped it would, at Central and 19th. I feel the site is too small to try to imitate the Porky’s on University Avenue in St. Paul, anyway. Also, we don’t need a lot more problems with young, or older people, bringing loud noise and other problems in the Northeast neighborhoods. Burger King—two blocks away—also shut down. We should thank God, and hope that no other businesses like that will come into those locations any time soon. Please, be grateful for the quiet we have, now. Lessy Owens
