Brain fitness games available at the library
What: Did you know that keeping your brain active by reading, writing, playing games, learning new things, doing crossword puzzles, may trigger the growth of new brain cells? Brain Fitness games, including Solitaire Chess, Tangoes, Cobra Cubes, a jigsaw puzzle and a variety of other puzzles and games for one or more persons are available for use in the adult services area of the Columbia Heights Public Library, 820 40th Ave. NE. Related books on brain fitness and memory are on display and available for checkout.

Brain Fitness games, designed by brain researchers and psychologists to improve brain performance and memory, are provided by the Brain Fitness Project through the Metropolitan Library Services Agency (MELSA) with funding by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association, the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Marbles the Brain Store.
